NEW YORK, NY – [March 18, 2025] – Renee Cassard, former Chief Research Officer of Omnicom Media Group, has filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of New York, alleging systemic gender and age discrimination against CEO Ralph Pardo. The lawsuit, filed ahead of a crucial merger vote, details a pattern of discriminatory behavior impacting senior women within the company.

Represented by attorneys Marjorie Mesidor and Itohen Ihaza of Mesidor PLLC, Cassard asserts that Pardo engaged in a series of actions designed to marginalize and eliminate experienced women over 40. These actions included “silent terminations,” exclusion from key strategic initiatives, appropriation of women’s work, and overtly misogynistic remarks.

“Ms. Cassard endured a hostile work environment characterized by systemic discrimination,” stated Marjorie Mesidor. “Her experience, along with the experiences of other senior women at Omnicom, reveals a disturbing pattern of age and gender bias orchestrated by Mr. Pardo.”

The lawsuit highlights specific instances of discrimination, including Cassard’s exclusion from leadership meetings, the dismissal of her contributions, and a degrading demotion. It also details retaliation following her formal complaint, culminating in her termination.

“This lawsuit underscores the urgent need for accountability and change within Omnicom,” added Itohen Ihaza. “Ahead of the merger vote, shareholders should be aware of the serious allegations of discrimination and the company’s failure to address these issues.”

Cassard’s legal team seeks to hold Omnicom accountable for its discriminatory practices and to secure justice for those affected. They are committed to ensuring that workplaces are free from age and gender bias.
