"The final cause of law is the welfare of society." - Benjamin Cardozo
APPROACH
As is highlighted by my experience, my approach is compassionate and client-driven. Having worked in extremely sensitive areas of the law, I am aware of how difficult it can be to bring such issues to a legal professional and greatly respect the bravery that it takes. I bring this respect to all interactions with clients, ensuring I am best serving their legal interests with care and consideration.
EXPERIENCE
Prior to law school, I worked as a case assistant for a mid-sized firm, primarily in their Mass Tort Personal Injury Department, where I gained significant experience working directly with clients handling sensitive and emotional medical matters. Since beginning law school, my skills have been further honed at the Integrated Domestic Violence court (IDV) in Brooklyn and Shalom Task Force, a domestic violence organization specializing in providing resources for the Hasidic and Orthodox Jewish communities. Further, I have been dedicated to serving my law school and wider community as a member of the executive board of several student organizations, including the LGBTQ+ Affinity group "OUTLaw" (serving as Political Action Chair), the Public Interest Law Students Association (PILSA) (serving as Secretary), and the Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice (Staff Editor).
PASSION
I am interested in pursuing a career in Civil Rights, Employment, and Labor law once I graduate. I am particularly passionate about LGBTQ+ Rights, Reproductive Freedom, and Constitutional Rights.
PERSONAL TOUCH
Outside of work, I have a great passion for the performing arts, particularly enjoying musical theater and Shakespeare performances. I also love reading, especially speculative fiction and nonfiction, and have recently taken up crocheting!
